Tokyo Area Churches Meet
Wednesday, November 12, 2008
Our three Tokyo area churches met on
Sunday afternoon, November 2nd, for a time of prayer, praise and
fellowship at the Iriso Church. Kenji Hosokawa led us in praise
worship, Ken brought a devotion, then we shared a delicious meal of
onigiri (rice shaped into balls with various fillings), miso (soy
bean paste) soup, and Costco cheese pizza. (A very "international"
meal!) We were also treated to a special movie that explained the
history of five well-known hymns. Hideki Hayashi, Iriso Church
member, led the services and introduced the film, which was
translated by the Christian media production group he is working
with. Pray for the unsaved who attended to receive salvation.
Praise God for the Japanese Christians who continue to serve Him in
their daily lives!
Hideki Hayashi, Iriso Church member
and leader of our meeting.
