created to discuss Shintoism and it’s effects on Japanese
society. Pastor Kimura from Hokkaido explains to us the basics of
Shinto belief, and especially the impact which Shinto has had on
Japanese social norms.

A new video has been produced presenting the ministry and Pastor
and Mrs. Matsuda in Hokkaido. In addition to taking on the
challenge of church-planting at Taihei Chapel, the couple spend
much of their time operating a kind of halfway house for
emotionally distraught patients of a local hospital. Known as the
Kanfu House, it allows residents to bridge the gap between
hospitalization for emotional reasons and release back into
society. It is a gap that remains largely unfilled in Japan, so the
ministry fills a real need...
