Language School and Life

The two pictures
below show our two biggest blessings and challenges at this point
in our lives.
We have completed almost 4 months of language school to this point, and it is unlike anything we have ever been through before. It is a great school! The teachers are all Japanese (and most of them are Christians). They do a super job at teaching "westerners" one of the most difficult languages in the world for them to learn. However, at this point we both feel like our heads are going to explode!!! This comes as no surprise to the people at the language school, so they have scheduled some time off for us. Please pray for us as we press on through 3 more weeks of school until our "break" in August.
Our other big blessing and "challenge," is our daughter, Grace. We love her dearly. She is a beautiful 2 1/2 year-old with a lot of energy. With us being first-time parents we are learning (right along with her) how to help her through this adjustment phase. There have been many battles fought in our household the past several months. Please pray that God would grant us patience as we face all the messes and tantrums, and wisdom and energy to respond the way He wants.
As you have guessed, it's been a huge challenge to balance study time and family time. Please pray for us in these areas!
