We just wanted to
share our exciting news--we have our plane
tickets, visas, and even our international
driver's license to go to Japan! We will be
flying out of Nashville, TN on Tuesday, January
13, 2009 at about 6:00 am. Please continue to
pray for us as we have a lot to do between now
and then.
We recently drug out all of our suitcases to do a "practice run". We decided not to ship a crate of our belongings to Japan this time, but just to take whatever we could squeeze into our suitcases. So, we were curious to see how much we could get to fit into 6 suitcases and 6 carry-on bags. While going through this process we realized that we needed another suitcase, and it would have been nice to have another carry-on type bag for Grace. Well, lo and behold about that time our pest control man called wondering if we needed anything (like a suitcase) for our journey to Japan! Later he showed up with a wonderful, red, 3 piece luggage set for Grace! Isn't God good!!! Now, we're just wondering how we are going to get through customs in Tokyo with all of this luggage plus Grace, her stroller, and car seat... But, if there's anything that we've learned over this past year, it is to trust God, because His ways are higher than our ways, and His plans are better than our plans, and there is nothing to difficult for Him!
We would like to invite you to our commissioning services. We will have one in Oklahoma, and one in Illinois. Here's all the info...

In His Love,
Rusty, Brenda, and Grace
