E-TEAM Hokkaido 2008
Five girls and three guys made up E-TEAM Hokkaido '08, along with team leaders Jonathan and Teresa Snow. They spent 10 days working in the Sapporo area. They experienced cultural activities like a tea ceremony, traditional caligraphy, and eating Japan's famous Sushi! They also rolled up their sleeves, threw in some elbow grease, and did some manual labor doing much-needed maintenance and preparation work for some our area ministries. The highlight of their visit was the yearly carnival they hosted for Miharashidai and Kita-Hiroshima. This is something E-TEAMs have been doing for years, and the Lord blessed this year's as well! Our thanks to all the E-TEAM members for contributing and working so hard to make all these events come together smoothly.
The teens were also able to spend some time with local people, get to know them a little, and explore Japanese society. Their time here taught them about the spiritual state of Japan, and what the needs of the people are. They were able to share testimonies at several venues, perform their mime, and gave missionaries several opportunities to present the Gospel and explain its message. God has used E-TEAMs in mighty ways, and it was a blessing to host yet another one this year!
